Allyson Aylesworth

I grew up among the rolling hills, maple trees and gorges of upstate New York and adulted in the open markets, bike traffic and high-rises of northeast China. I am trained as a Physical Therapist, DIR Floortime Practitioner (DIR-Proficient), and Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and served in Christian ministry for 25 years. I am fascinated by Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sensory Integration, child development and spiritual formation. I enjoy spending time writing, gardening, trail running, kayaking, cooking, designing, exploring new places with my camera and savoring a mug of dark roast or a meal with family and friends. As I hold all these parts of myself, I am learning to see God and the way He wired me with wonder and awe.
