Divergent Brainworks LLC

We are a Social Enterprise devoted to bringing connection, support, and learning together with and for neurodivergent people and allies. From body doubling to full classes, social groups, and events, we are building opportunities for deeper knowledge, connection, and community.

Divergent Brainworks was founded by Dawn-Marie Solais, who is an author, speaker, non-profit founder, and more. She began fully understanding her own neurodivergent identity profile around the age of 50, and began putting all of her energy into amplifying neurodivergent voices and creating opportunities with and for neurodivergent people and allies. Dawn-Marie has gathered close and trusted neurodivergent and allied content creators, educators, podcasters, coaches, medical professionals, and more to bring members excellent resources, information, and community experiences.

All of us at Divergent Brainworks are motivated to find and create safe opportunities and community by, with, and for neurodivergent people. We are excited to welcome you and include you in this effort.

Purpose, Commitment, and More

Purpose: To gather neurodivergent people and allies in mutual aid for teaching and learning opportunities, deep thinking and feeling, info sharing, social connection and support, and idea creation and development.

Commitment: We are committed to finding heart-first contributors that are here for mutual good. We will work to create opportunities for connection, while nurturing effective communication and community growth and strength. While we acknowledge that humans are unique, and we strongly value diversity and the sharing of thoughts and opinions, we will always be working to help this community take care of each other more than we come at each other.

Seeking: Contributors and community members that are looking for deeper thought and connection than current online learning and social media provide, and we hope they will be just as devoted to mutual good as we are. We are looking to bring together neurodivergent people and allies that are willing to put the good of each other first, while setting and maintaining reasonable and healthy boundaries. When we as content contributors and community members post and comment, we seek first to understand and approach any situation first with kindness and compassion, attempting to call people in rather than call people out.
